BYEBYE BLOGGER.
HELLO LJ.
Monday, December 31, 2007

So 2007 has ended, and 2008 is here. Well happy new year! :D

2007, has been an awesome year but yet at the same time a bad year. Leaving my primary school had been really hard for me since I was very attached to my primary school friends, plus I had chickenpox the first two weeks of school after orientation and that made it worse. But Crescent gradually got better and seriously I'm actually starting to like it. Met really awesome new friends, had loaaaads of fun and of course also, been to my first rock concert ever. I LOVE MCR MAN. HAHAHA, sorry, couldn't resist adding them inside this post. They got best rock act, best album of the year and #1 in the top 100 countdown! Yeah man, they rock, I'm so happy they beat the shit outta' daughtry. :D Well anyway. I hope 2008 will be a better year. As for new year resolutions, usual stuff, study hard, good results, shan't bother typing them out, oh I wanna get into triple science!

Well anyway.

Caught national treasure yesterday. It's an awesome movie, really really good. It was very thrilling but it was too similar to the last national treasure movie. But nevertheless, still good.

Suetyi's so retarded:

OKAY! HAPPY NEW YEAR AGAIN. :D

Well hellooo.

So Life! reported that there's this new cinema called Filmgarde (the name's kinda stupid I think, like they are trying to act high class) at kallang. From the picture in the newspaper, the cineplex looks like Cathay. But the website's quite lousy. Nothing much in there, and there are only like four shows. Guess it's because it's new. The price is the same as other cinemas though, hoped it would be cheaper cause it's new. Haha I'm sucha' cheapskate.

Anyway, http://www.filmgarde.com.sg/

Nothing else to blog about, I'm getting real boring. Yup so bye. :D

HAPPY GAYDAY PEOPLE.

So today was Bugis > Haji Lane > Bugis > Orchard > Bugis with Desiree. :D Haji Lane was cool, nice erm vandalism everywhere. Too bad the shops weren't open. Not like we'll be able to afford anything there. That's where we saw gay man no.1. And we were staring. Yes I know it's rude, but I can't help it!

"Drive in and park at your own risk! This barrel thing used to be a lexus =)"

Green, Green, Green, Green. Her shoes had green too.

Orchard MRT was where we saw gay man no.2. He was the funniest man. We even stalked him until he went up the escalator at Tangs. Omg super funny. I know we shouldn't laugh, there's nothing wrong with being gay/sissy. But again, can't help it. We (or rather Desiree the genius composer :D) made up a song.

(to the tune of "irreplaceble")

TO THE LEFT TO THE RIGHT
EVERYDAY HIS BUTT SHAKES LEFT AND RIGHT
AND WHEN HE WALKS IT'S SO DAMN GROSS
BUT ON HIS PANTS SAYS "PLEASE DON'T TOUCH~"

Bugis Street was where we saw the no.3. He was in a hairdresser, no laughing this time.

Anyway, had fun today, and I bought two new shirts. :D Yeahhh.

Okay, Happy boxing day + belated christmas.
Sunday, December 23, 2007

HI. Today's christmas eve. :D Have you gotten me a gift yet? HAHAHAH.
Okay right. Friday was the 6R barbeque at Pasir Ris Park! It was kinda pathetic really, cause 5R had like 25 people and 6R only had about 15. Well most people were at Malaysia. D: But it was still reaaaaaaaal fun, I got a bad sunburn, looked like a lobster that night. LOL.

YUP. Anyway, Sunday morning, I went to ah ma's church for her baptism. It was real boring cause it's like a chinese church and they have to interpret everything. Almost the whole family was there to watch, like more than 10 people. -.- Then after that we went to Jumbo for lunch, Jumbo's kinda like the family restaurant lol. After lunch, went christmas shopping with Sziying and mummy. Finally finished buying all the gifts. Oh at Gramophone, I saw Sly's album, the one who was the runner-up for SG Idol. Guess how much they are selling it for. 4 bucks. 4 bucks. 4 bucks! HAHAH SO HILARIOUS.

Today, I caught The Golden Compass with my family.

It was kinda disappointing, thought it would be better. This shows that newspaper ratings can't be trusted. The effects were cool thoughl.

After that, I walked home with jiejie. Walked all the way from plaza sing to kovan. It took about 2 hours, I thought it was cool though, not tiring, but my feet was so sore. Well on the way back, at around Potong Pasir, we saw this:

HAHHA.
WELLLLL, holidays are ending SOON. Real soon. So not looking forward to school, my homework isn't done too. I'd better start on homework soon, like tonight.
Friday, December 21, 2007

So I went christmas and furniture shopping after buying food for tomorrow's BBQ. Still have some presents left to buy. And I bought a new wardrobe. LOL. Then after that I was marinating the chicken wings with my mum. OMG, freakin hilarious. "Must massage the chicken! Massage, massage, then the thing will go in!" HAHA.

Well anyway, what do I want for christmas? GERARD WAY, DUHHH. Edison Chen will do too. But that is obviously far from possible. So anything MCR will do. MCR albums, MCR posters, anything! I JUST WANT MCRRRRR! <3 Okay I'm not asking for too much right, they aren't very expensive! Oh and I saw the MCR album at POPULAR, free poster with every purchase, while stocks last, so quickly go buy!

Right. My laptop table just fell apart. That happens when you buy stuff from IKEA, or when you get my dad to help you fix stuff. Well a stupid mattress fell on top of it. -.- My brother's offering to help me fix it if I give him two bucks. He's a much better builder than my dad, maybe he can be the next Bob the Builder... haha now I'm just being lame.
Tuesday, December 18, 2007

I probably have the most disgusting brother. Why?

1. He likes stuffing my blanket into his pants. (to piss me off)
2. He changes outside the toilet. -.-
3. He likes to spit saliva on me.
4. He likes to wipe his snot on me.
5. Today, after eating his chicken wing, he wiped the bones and saliva and everything on my face, after I bathed. (okay I provoked him, so what?!)

There, five reasons why he's gross, many many more too gross to mention. :D Oh I obviously find joy in publicly humiliating my brother. HA HA YOU JING, HOW'S THAT FOR REVENGE. :D

There was this article on the first page of Straits Times Home today. About this worker finding this woman naked and bloody (and dead) in a room inside a condo under construction. Okay that is super scary. If I were that worker I'd probably scream my head off and faint. And after that, have nightmares of the dead woman the rest of my life. Gosh. That murderer's some psycho, leaving the body in that condo after killing her (assuming that person didn't kill her in the condo) for other people to find, rather than bury her deeeeep in the ground, never to be found again. Well I'd do that if I killed someone. LOL.
Anyway. On Saturday, I stayed at Changi Village Hotel cause daddy had this workshop thing and his friend gave him three free rooms to stay in. The hotel's pretty cool. :D Especially the pool which is on the rooftop, and you can watch planes fly by.
We paid for three hours of internet and Sziying and I spent the three hours watching MCR on youtube. HAHA. Did I mention I love MCR and Gerard way? THEY WERE ON MTV AND GERARD'S ON LIFE TODAY! HAHAHA COOOOL. :D
Friday, December 14, 2007

Oh gosh, I gotta' keep myself off MCR videos.
Thursday, December 13, 2007

Vishaki left for Melbourne today. Time passes so fast and it finally sank in that she's not here anymore. Our class will definitely not be the same, it's hard to imagine what it will be like without her there. Vishaki we'll miss you!

Okay I'd better stop before I start crying again. Enough of all the sad stuff.

Now for the happy parts of the day. Well after sending Vishaki off, went to City Link and Raffles City and Marina Square with Rachel, Phoebe and Geraldine. They bought my belated birthday present (THANKS!), and just walked around talking about McFLY and MCR. Haha. Oh and I decided to go to the food court for a drink in Raffles City and guess what, Shawn Chen was sitting diagonally in front of us. Phoebe and I were a little starstruck. Haha and Rachel and Geraldine didn't care at all. Oh oh he turned and he SAW US okay. HAHA.

His back view!

Well when he got up to leave, we decided to leave too. He went to buy teh tarik lol. Then we went into Precious Thots, right next to the food court. Rachel and Geraldine went to the toilet, Phoebe and I stayed there for awhile. And when walked out of the store, SHAWN CHEN WAS BEHIND US! Then we were like laughing like crazy and I think he noticed, and he went down the escalator. We went to find Rachel and Geraldine then we went down to look for him. Too bad we couldn't find him. ): He was so cute lah omgggggggg (of course not as cute as Gerard Way).

The whole time we were out, Rachel and I were talking about MCR (GERARD WAYYYYY! AHHHHHH!), made Geraldine real sad cause she missed the concert. LOL, Geraldine, there's always a next time! :D I still haven't got over the concert yet, I'm thinking about Gerard Way all the time, I laugh and smile to myself, god I'm going crazy. :D HAHA I LOVE GERARD WAYYYYY!

MCR Concert yesterday! :D

Met Liz at Vivo first then went to Rachel's house to wait for her to bathe and change. Haha, Rachel's brother was so cute lah, he kept taking Liz's phone to play. -.-

Yup then went to Max Pavilion!

We waited like really long for the MCR Concert to start. They only came out at about 8.45 and we got in at about 7. So in the meantime, someone threw blowed-up condoms and people were playing with it. -.- Then MCR finally came out. :D

The first part, there was a lot of moshing and a lot of people fainted. So I was damn scared I'll faint too hahah. At one point, I was gonna faint, like couldn't breathe very well, but I got better after that. The middle of the concert was much better and I enjoyed it a lot. Then the last part, everyone was tired out so there wasn't much pushing, everyone just stood there and jumped. I thought that was cool. :D Well I loved the concert and I'll definitely go again, if they ever will come to Singapore again. I didn't think MCR enjoyed the concert cause Singaporeans are so unenthu and the place was so empty. It wasn't even half-filled. Must be very disappointing. Yeah and during the last part, when we were supposed to scream "encore", some people screamed but it was so soft and it ended like after a few seconds. So I don't think MCR heard, so they just came out themselves to do the encore. -.- So embarrassing. Yup but I hope they come again. :D Gerard Way was damn hot! Omg the concert was super fun, but Liz didn't enjoy it. :/

I couldn't take a good picture of Gerard cause I was quite far back (everyone was pushing me back), and my camera's only 2 megapixels so it's really blur. :/

I LOVE GERARD WAY!
I LOVE MCRRR!

Got back from MCR Concert! :D More about it later.

It was my birthday, my stupid birthday.

I can't believe I'm staying home, sleeping on my birthday. Too bad people have church on Sundays. D: This definitely has been the worst birthday, or rather the most boring birthday in my life, so far. There wasn't even a friggin cake. I don't care I have to have some celebration to make up for today, I don't mind watching a movie or doing something else... anyone?

Well, thanks to those who wished me happy birthday! And especially Geraldine and Lokxuan, for the the touching stuff you wrote on your blogs. :D Oh and Lokxuan, thanks for this:

Right. So these two days I have been going furniture shopping with my family. Finally, some decent furniture (okay not like my furniture now isn't decent, just that nothing matches). Have to start to save more money and not ask my parents for more money, since they already spent so much on furniture.

Daddy and Youjing fixing a computer table and laptop table from IKEA.

New furniture arriving on Tuesday, can't wait! :D And I chose the sofa, it's quite small and expensive, but it's the best sofa in the whole place, it's so soft and awesomeeeee. :D OH OH And we saw this Simmons mattress, omg I want it soooo much. It's super super soft (now you know I like soft stuff), and expensive of course. It costs what, $17 000 for a queen, $18 000 for a king and $19 500 for a US King. D:

Oh and before I forget, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TESSA SIMMIE SIM SIM, THE GIRL WHO IS ONLY FIVE MINUTES YOUNGER THAN ME. :D
Saturday, December 08, 2007

That was definitely the most disturbing night of my life, so far. I seriously don't know how to get over this, I hope I'll forget this, I want to forget this, I need to forget this.

It's all okay now.

Gosh.

Okay I need something to distract me. So I'm gonna go to *scape later to try and get MCR front row passes. :D Shan Wee's gonna be there! Hahahah.

Anyway, tomorrow's a special day. (wink)
Friday, December 07, 2007

I've finally reached home after meeting Desiree to pass her the Jeffrey Archer book and going for lunch at my aunty's place. D: So exhausting. And after that I'm gonna go to the library and waste my precious time trying to find books on the reading list. Rawr, why can't Crescent choose books that are easier to find, like those more popular ones that can be found in stupid Popular? Whatever.

Anyway. I was at my aunty's house just now, I went up first while she went to buy our lunch. And guess what, I realised I dunno how to unlock a door. So I was like, "I know I can do this." And I spent almost 15 minutes trying to unlock the door, but in the end I couldn't, so I waited for my aunty to come back and unlock for me. Stupid door, I swear the door hates me. Why cant they have some electronic sensor kinda thing they have in hotels, so much easier. Okay forget it, I dunno how to open hotel doors too, all the doors hate me. And I hate them too. D:

Yes I've finally decided to blog about the hainan trip. This is gonna be lengthy. And I've forgotten some parts of the trip so I think I'll leave some parts out.

Day 1:
First day was nothing much, just arriving there, getting settled down in the hotel and walking around at night.

Day 2:
-Wu Gong Ci
It was some memorial thing for five officials. Not many pictures of this cause it wasn't really very interesting.

Use your imagination.
-Boao Forum
Some place set up for the countries in Asia and the Atlantic (?) cause they didn't want all of the world's issues discussed by the Americans and Europeans.

-Some place where one side of the shore is a river and the other side is the South China Sea.
This place was pretty cool. Like one side is all calm and the other side has all the big and scary waves. The waters of the South China Sea was damn scary, like the waves were HUGE, and the water was so cold.

We carried alligators! Omg, I officially love them (at least when their mouths are tied up and they cant bite me), their skin is so nice and smooth and they're so warm!

-Some cultural village, I can't remember the name
They had this ugly replica of our Merlion!
-Coffee factory

I have no idea what "God Dispose, Eran Propose" means.

Jay Chou's everywhere in China, on billboards, on food packaging, in advertisements, on bags! Yay!
-Some plantation
We were sitting at the back of the buggy and we weren't listening to the guide and no one cared about us. :D

We were trying to imitate Gerard Way and Bob Bryar, and obviously failed - stop laughing!
- We stayed in this hotel with a awesome view of the beach

Day 3:
- Woke up at 5am (keeping in mind I slept only at 2.30) to watch the sunrise
Stupid Sziying and Celine slept like pigs. The sun was beautiful though.

- ANOTHER cultural place
We were forced to wear some weird shirt thing and a garland cause we paid for some VIP thing and we could try all the games and stuff for free. I didn't wear the shirt thing, it was ugly!

There was this beautiful peacock, he looked so sad so Sziying untied the string it was tied to so he can be freeeeeee.

This woman was blowing the flute with her nostrils. This can be a deadly weapon, she can aim at someone and blow her snot through the flute and it'll land on the person. Okay ewwwww.

-Two Beaches
I only took pictures at one though.

Watched the sunset. :D

We mixed coconut soup, sharksfin soup, coke and tea. It came out smelling like curry. :D

-Stayed at Holiday Inn
Holiday is awesome, really really awesome omg, I love that hotel! :D There's a fish therapy thing next to the pool where the fish bites away the dead skin. I tried it and it was really ticklish, but it really helped!

Day 4:
- Crystal Factory

Spot anything wrong?
-Tianya Haijiao (The end of the world)
The most famous tourist spot in Hainan, I didn't take picture of haijiao cause my camera chose that moment to die on me. And we did poems with our names, super cool. :D Daddy did one with mummy's name, a love poem, it was their 14th anniversary too! Too bad mummy didn't go, it would've been so romantic.

Day 5:

- Jog on the beach
Guzang forced us to wake up at six to go for exercise. Well, I jogged a bit and we watched the sunrise. :D

Jiejie was doing the "worship the sun".

The rest of the day was spent travelling.

Day 6:

-The Soong Sisters' house
One of them was Sun Yat-Sen's wife, the other two were rulers.
Random photo of phyllis with shades :O
-Volcano Park
The two other tourguides were leaving so we took a picture with them. :D
Day 7:
-Manicure and Pedicure
This was super cheap, 50RMB (10 sing) for manicure and pedicure and massage and also scrubbing our feet! The other people left for Singapore and only 7 people stayed for another day.
-International buffet with daddy's friend
-Shopping at some nightmarket
Day 8:
Left for Singapore.
Yes finally done. I took like ages to finish this.
Anyway, my house is super messy now cause we're repainting the house. There are like no furniture, only a few tables and the sofa. All our things are strewn all over the place and it's so messy I can't find anything. D:
